No, the commission rate you decide to set is entirely up to you, however 0% commission rates are not allowed on the platform.
- Is there a minimum requirement of stock levels I must hold in order to participate on TikTok Shop?
No, there is no minimum inventory level required
- Are samples required to participate in the Affiliate program?
Sellers are not required to offer samples to creators. However, samples are always encouraged as a way to help creators promote quality content and show your product in use.
- What are the differences between the plan options available on TikTok Shop Affiliate?
The differences in plans depend on creator coverage, product coverage and commission settings.
- What's the difference between Shop plan and Open plan?
✨ Shop plan sets a universal commission rate for all products on your TikTok Shop catalog
✨ Open plan lets you choose which products you want to upload to Affiliate and set custom commission rates. You can only enable free samples on Open plan
- Are creators obligated to post content with my sample? What happens if they don't fulfil their obligation?
Yes, creators that are sent samples are required to post content with your product links. Creators that don't fulfil their obligation will limit their ability to post content in the future.
- Who can apply for samples?
You decide, you can set rules and criteria's that creators must meet in order to be eligible to apply for your samples. Once a creator applies for a sample, you simply review their request and accept or reject it.
- Can I track who has posted content with my sample?
Of course, if you send samples using the Affiliate platform you'll be able to track the entire fulfilment journey!
- How do creators link my products to their content?
After creators create their content, right before they upload/publish it, they will have the option to add a product link which they will be able to find directly from their showcase.
- Can I choose which creators promote my products?
Yes, you do have the option to only allow targeted creators to promote your products. However, we recommend making your products available to all creators to fully reap the benefits of our scalable affiliate platform
- Do I have to share a product link with Creators in order for them to promote my products?
No, you do not need to send creators a link to promote them, creators will be able to link your products directly from their showcase after browsing the product marketplace.
