Background ​
My Protein is Europe's No. 1 fitness brand, specialising in protein powder, vitamins and minerals, high-protein foods, snack alternatives, and performance clothing. GenZ is the premier influencer, TikTok, and social commerce agency and one of TikTok Shop's Creator Agency Partners. The two recently teamed up for the first-ever FMCG x Creator Agency Partner collaboration campaign on TikTok Shop, and the results were outstanding.​

The Objective ​
The goal of this campaign was to reach the TikTok audience, create some buzz, and boost sales for My Protein's Vimto flavoured clear whey as well as their clear whey starter pack on TikTok Shop.​

TikTok Shop works closely with Creator Agency Partners like GenZ to help brands find the right creators to collaborate with. Teaming up with TikTok creators can be a very effective way to get the word out about your products, so we always encourage these collaborations. TikTok Shop creators promote your brand and/or specific products on their platforms, encouraging their followers to try them. Many creators have worked hard to build trust within their TikTok communities, so getting their endorsement can work wonders. ​

So, how do creators promote brands and products? They can make Shoppable Short videos encouraging followers to buy specific items, or they can do Shoppable LIVEs where they can interact with their fans in real time. Both functions allow creators to add the necessary links, so their followers can shop directly from their videos and LIVEs. ​
​
For this campaign, My Protein was looking to access a wider pool of TikTok Shop creators, so they partnered with GenZ to activate 21 creators to promote their Vimto clear way and clear whey starter pack with 42 engaging Shoppable Short videos to drive revenue.​
​
The results ​
Their campaign strategy in partnership with TikTok Shop and collaboration with GenZ resulted in a trending product, viral content and generated over 50K revenue! This alliance was so successful that My Protein renewed this collaboration for another six months and expanded their product category to include clothing.​
​
By working with a large pool of creators with different approaches, My Protein was able to learn valuable lessons on what type of content works for their brand, which could help them achieve even more in future campaigns on TikTok Shop.​
